As Netflix‘s 13 Reasons Why is back with it’s the fourth and final season in June 2020, the fans are curious to know all about the show.

Where was 13 Reasons Why’s filming?

As per information, the Netflix series shooting was going on in a fictional place called Crestmont. However, the actual shoot location was in San Francisco’s Bay Area in California.

If you have seen the show, you will notice that there is never any mention of a real place or time. But, this show intends to show the real-life issues that teenagers face regardless of the time and place.

What Are the locations for the shoot of the series?

As per reports, some of the show’s famous scenes are actually shot in a nearby warehouse. However, mostly the filming was done in real-life places.

Like, the school where the characters go, was the Analy High School in Sebastopol, California. This school was the one where the filming for Liberty High School was happening.

Also, Monet’s, where we saw the students of 13 Reasons Why either hanging out or working, is actually a real coffee shop. Along with that, the Crestmont Movie Theatre in the series is an empty shop building in Vallejo.

The house in which Clay’s family lives is a house in Bayview Street in San Rafael and to a surprise, the school gym is not actually at the same school as the rest of 13 Reasons Why. Apparently, it is a former gym and bowling alley which was usually renovating every time for the show.
