“Life Goes On”:
Prior to the show during the annual awards on Sunday, the BTS band teased what the fans can expect from “Life Goes On”.
For their song “Life Goes On,”, Jin says, “We hope that fans can find comfort in this track.” With Suga adding, “We’re also performing at a place that reminds us of our…,” before the rest of the guys stopped him from revealing more “spoilers.”
In “Life Goes On” music video, the members wear pyjamas and lounge around the house together, watching home movies. They take a trip down the memory lane about being able to frolic outside. At one point, member V also stare out at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium, which was supposed to be the group’s first stop on their highly anticipated world tour had the pandemic not happened. The scene then shifts to the seven members performing at a stadium empty of ARMY’s light sticks, the septet gathered under a monochrome filter.
Jim made a statement on what the “BE” album is about. He says the pandemic put a stop to their plans and their most awaited tour as well. However, he looks on the bright side and tells the army that this gave the members a chance to focus on themselves as well as their music. They took the opportunity to reflect the emotions they felt during this unfortunate period. They were also able to take a step further by taking roles in overall production, such as concept development, composition and visual design.
