American Horror Story On Netflix: Season 9 Official Details

The ninth season of the American Horror Story has wrapped up, and the production for the tenth season of the series is all set to begin its production by the end of the month of October of this year. However, as of now, we are not sure about the fact whether the ninth season of the series will be coming to the online streaming service providing platform, Netflix.

The ninth season of the FX’s flagship horror anthology series is American Horror Story: 1984, and it has been produced by the super-producer, Ryan Murphy, who exclusively works on both FX and Netflix.

The latest season of the series takes us back to the year 1984, to be precise. This season has served as a homage to Friday the 13th, the classic slasher film franchise. In the summer of the year 1984, five friends from Los Angeles head to Camp Redwood to work there as counselors. When Mr. Jigles, the infamous killer, escapes from the prison, he returns to the Camp Redwood to continue his massacre.

This season is going to be the first season in which Evan Peters, the fan-favorite, is not going to be featured. Although Sarah Paulson has returned for this season but she will only be featured in a minor role.

Among a few FX shows that remain on Netflix, American Horror story is one. Like all of the previous season of the show that came in the month of September or October, the ninth season of the series was also expected to be made available to stream around this time of the year 2020. However, this was changed when the streaming giant lost the rights to the eighth season in the month of September of this year, but with the previous other seasons still available to stream.

We know that the ninth season of the series did not arrive in the month of September on the Netflix US, and we are also aware that it is not slated for release in the month of October too. It can be an indication that the series is slowly leaving the streaming platform, but as of now, nothing can be stated confirmingly of what is about to happen with the horror series. The series also releases on Hulu and Amazon Prime Video.
