Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 3 Spoilers

It looks like episode 3 is going to revolve around Reiner. Since the battle with the Mid-East Allied Forces has finally concluded, the character is going to meet his mother. From what we we know, it seems like he will recall his childhood memories and the time he wanted to inherit the Titan so that he could get the honorary Marleyan title. Moreover, we can also expect to see Zeke’s plan taking shape at the carnival. The Tybur family will, most probably, make the announcement as well.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 2 Recap

The Marleyan forces earned victory in the four-year war. Nonetheless, the anti-Titan technology of the Mid-East Allied Forces is being raved about everywhere. In fact, the Marleyan generals are clear with the fact that they cannot solely rely on the powers of the Titans anymore. After all, everyone is working on weapons that can destroy the creatures, and so the Marleyans will not have the same grip on the battlefield anymore. Zeke creates a plan which includes attacking Paradis Island and retaking the Founding Titan. This will impart the Marleyan forces sufficient time to make technological advancements of their own as well.

Those Eldian soldiers who survived the war are returning to Liberio on a train. Everyone claims Gabi a hero for her courage on the battlefield. Reiner even informs Falco that she could become the next Armored Titan. However, Falco doesn’t want this to happen as she would only live till 27. Even Reiner forces Falco to work hard and inherit the title for himself so that he can protect Gabi from the dark future they are going to face.

In Liberio, everyone meets with their family, but there is a group of soldiers have developed PTSD. Moreover, Falco thinks if he can rely on Reiner completely. At dinner, Gabi narrates her family her heroic exploits on the battlefield, and her cousin, Reiner, reminisces his time on Paradis Island.

Later, Zeke and the Titan Warriors catch up in the war chief’s room to talk about their new strategy. Zeke wants to use the Tybur family and their War Hammer Titan (who has never been seen before) to declare that they will be taking over the island within the year. Moreover, the military seniors have been eavesdropping on this conversation from another room. Reiner thinks if he will have to go back to that island soon.
