Away Season 2 is not going to happen as it has been officially canceled by the online streaming service providing platform, Netflix. The streaming giant has recently canceled the space drama starring Hilary Swank after just one season. The first season of the series was premiered on September 4, and ut counted Friday Night Lights boss Jason Katims among its executive producers.
It followed Commander Emma Green, whose role is played by Hilary Swank, and her international crew as they start a three-year trip to Mars in the near future. The team of four persons of Emma consisted of Misha from Russia, whose role is played by Mark Ivanir, whom we have previously seen in Homeland, Kesi from Ghana/England, played by Ato Essandoh, previously seen in Chicago Med, Lu from China, played by Vivian Wu, previously seen in The Pillow Book, and Ram, played by Ray Panthaki, previously seen in EastEnders.

Josh Charles from The Good Wife is back on the ground and has portrayed the role of NASA engineer husband of Emma, who stayed on Earth to take care of their teenage daughter, Alexis, played by Eliana Bateman, previously seen in Love.
