B: The Beginning Season 2- Release Date

The anime’s first season premiered in March 2018. Production I.G. produced the anime. Everyone is waiting for the second season since then. Netflix renewed the show for the second season in June 2018.

The second season was going to release this year in March. The coronavirus pandemic disrupted the entire schedule. This postponed the anime’s release. We are expecting it to land in around 2021 summer.

This anime is by far one of the best psychological thriller anime. The anime is set in a fictional nation called Cremona. A serial killer starts creating havoc in the city and everyone is terrified. Eventually, this causes a few people’s paths to cross each other.

The story mainly revolves around the character named Keith. He is highly competent and a genius investigator who is a part of the country’s ‘Royal Investigation Society’. Surprisingly, he is also Killer B, the serial killer.

On the other hand, there is one boy named Koku, who in search of his companion.

One day, these two characters cross-path which each other and eventually get along. They decide to form a secret organization. They tend to bring back dead gods and a prophecy that predicts the ‘Black King’s’ arrival.

Manga usually inspires most of the anime. But this anime is unique and nothing resembles it in any way. Also, it has a very unique storyline which is why people love it.
