Batman: The Killing Joke | Coming To Netflix | Know Details Here

The fans of the Batman would now like to keep their subscription to the online streaming service providing platform, Netflix, for a little longer as Batman: The Killing Joke, the hit animated series of the year 2016, will be hitting the streaming platform in the United States on the month of October of this year.

The plot of the movie will be picking up with Joker escaping the asylum of Gotham. Rather than running into the sunset, he plans to prove a point by attacking the Gordon family. Meanwhile following his plan, he himself falls further and deeper into madness.

The director of the movie is Sam Liu, and he had worked on most of the animated projects of Batman including the Batman between the year 2004 and 2008 and Beware The Batman, which generally received positive reviews when it was released four years ago. The IMDb rating of the movie is 6.4/10 as of the time of publishing.

Kevin Conroy will be voicing the hero of Gotham City, Batman, and Joker will be voiced by Mark Hamill, Tara Strong will be voicing Batgirl and Barbara Gordon. There will be other voice artists too in the movie, including, Robin Atkins Downes, Brian George, John DiMaggio, and Ray Wise. The movie will be hitting the Netflix US as part of the October 2020 release list, and will be arriving on October 15, 2020. Most of the titles of Batman have been featured on HBO Max, and Batman as a whole is rather fragmented when it comes to streaming. However, many of the titles continue to be licensed out as a part of pre-existing contracts. Eventually, we suspect it will land on HBO Max, but Warner Brothers continue to license out content to other providers, unlike Disney who took the approach of buying back or ending all of its contracts with streamers such as Netflix in favour of its own platform.
