The lawyer was 94 years old, and the cause of the death of the father of the founder of Microsoft was Alzheimer. It was announced by his family on Tuesday that he was suffering from Alzheimer disease. William Henry Gates II was born on November 30, 1925, in Bremerton, Washington. Bill Gates said in a tweet on the demise of his father that his dad was the real Bill Gates, he was everything that Bill tries to be and he will be missing him every day.
According to the New York Times, Gates Sr. had played a very crucial role in the establishment of the largest philanthropy of the world, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill said that the influence of his dad on their philanthropy was just as big as the foundation. He added that throughout his childhood, he and his mother taught him by example, what generosity looked like in how they used their resources and time.

Bill told his father while standing in the ticket line that he was being inundated with the appeals for charity, but he was far too busy in running the Microsoft to answer them.
Bill has recently revealed that The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation would not be what it is today without his dad, William H. Gates Sr. His dad shaped the values of the foundation more than anyone else. He added that his father was collaborative, serious, and judicious about learning. His dad was dignified, but he hated anything that seemed pretentious.
Bill Gates Sr. in addition to his son, is survived by his wife, his daughters, and eight grandchildren. The names of his daughters are Kristanna Blake and Elizabeth MacPhee, and they are known as Kristi and Libby respectively.
