The book was launched in August. Michael Seitzman and his Maniac Productions, and Moss and her production company Love & Squalor Pictures will produce the film.
Hill talks about her political experience in the book. She was a young woman with no political background whatsoever. Hill’s charm and common sense won over the people in her district. The people trusted her with power and elected her to Washington. With her brash confidence, she won over her powerful allies and infuriated her enemies.
However, she was privately concealing a cycle of domestic abuse. This ultimately resulted in the release of intimate photos and the revelation of her own admitted personal mistakes. Owing to these mistakes, she took a fall from her grace.

Moss said that she is honored to have the opportunity to portray Katie. Moss also added that she would love to tell her story to the people. Hill is also the film’s executive producer. Seitzman is all set to write the film’s screenplay. 2005 Charlize Theron pic “North Country” is his most famous work.
Moss and Lindsey McManus will produce the film for Love and Squalor. Additionally, Seitzman will produce for Maniac and Jason Blum for Blumhouse. Blumhouse TV’s Jeremy Gold is also one of the film’s executive producer.
While talking about the project, Blum said that they pursued it as they believed in Katie’s story. They believe that Katie’s message of empowering women and breaking the system is important. The studios said that Elisabeth’s force on and off the camera will be a powerful vehicle for inspiration and change.
