Boruto manga has always hinted the Naruto might not survive the ending. Masashi Kishimoto created Naruto in 1999 and his story ended in 2014. The ninja protagonist came back into action with his son taking the centre stage in a movie in 2015. The new manga revolved around Boruto, Naruto’s son, and became very famous in a short time.
There always have been theories that Naruto will die in Boruto manga’s ending. So, is it really true? Well, here’s everything you need to know about!
Boruto Manga: The Tragic History!
Naruto Uzumaki belonged to Konohagakure or the Hidden Leaf Village and was a ninja orphan. He eventually became a Hokage, a sort of ninja-president that protects Konoha. Naruto became the Nanadaime Hokage after many tragic events. He faced the Chunin Exams, shinobi world wars, even lost his arm to God.
The makers later presented a spin-off that focused on Naruto’s son. This spin-off answered many questions or hang-ups that persisted from the original. It also took down the narrative weight from Naruto’s shoulders and passed it down to his son.
Fans were introduced to a new power, ‘Kama’, in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. This power is nothing but Karma. Ōtsutsuki Clan only uses this special type of seal. Naruto defeated the clan’s god during the Fourth Shinobi War. In this war, both Naruto and God lost their arm (as mentioned above). We all thought that this is where it all ends.
However, Boruto picked up a fight with Momosuki, a new enemy in the form of a Ōtsutsuki Clan member. Momosuki revealed exactly what the Karma does. If any of the Ōtsutsuki Clan’s member dies or is killed, then their biological data is transferred into a vessel. Then using Karma, this person can be reborn once the new DNA takes over.
Momosuki tries to kill Naruto, but Naruto’s son instead killed him first and saved his father. After that, Momosuki placed his own Karma into Boruto. This means that sometime in the future, Momosuki will try to be back via Boruto and then kill Naruto.
Will Naruto Die?
During a later adventure, Boruto uses Momosuki’s sealed power and saves the day and his dad. Boruto could have transferred some of Momosuki’s energy to Naruto or the demon inside of him. This simply means that Naruto could die by becoming the very thing he wanted to destroy. If Masashi Kishimoto treads this tragic narrative path, then it can prove devastating for both father and son.
The manga’s path is set to follow this multiple tragic event. Also, Naruto might have to sacrifice himself to save Boruto. Judging from the path the manga is on right now, it seems that Naruto’s death is inevitable. This can be changed if the story finds a way around. However, as for now, it is what it is.
We will bring more insights very soon. Until then, stay tuned and keep reading for all the latest updates!
