According to reports, Craig Robinson is in talks to reunite with the team of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He will be re-teaming with the executive producers of the show, Luke Del Tredici, and Dan Goor, for Peacock comedy, Killing It. The comedy will be exploring capitalism, class, and a man’s quest to achieve his American dream. It is also about hunting really giant snakes.
Robinson will be starring in the comedy, and he has a recurring role on the NBC’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine as nemesis, Doug Judy known as the Pontiac Bandit and as Jake’s friend. Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici will be writing the script for Killing It. The recently launched streamer has received a series-to-series commitment. It merely means that if the executives like the script, they will bypass the process of traditional plot development.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Creators are planning to develop a series for Peacock.
The co-creator and the showrunner of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Del and Goor will be executively producing the show along with Robinson and 3Art’s Mark Schulman, his manager.
This is going to be the latest collaboration between Mark Schulman and Robinson. They have previously worked together on NBC’s Mr. Robinson and Fox’s Ghosted. It hails from Universal Television, where Dan Goor is under a deal.
Killing It is going to be the latest comedy which is in the works at NBCUniversal’s Peacock. The executive producers and writers of The Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Office, Park and Recreation, are also having a single-camera comedy called Grand Crew in the works. It is expected that a Pilot for NBC will be filming when it is going to be safe sometime in the fall.
