The wait is finally over for Cells at Work fans. Initially, Cells at Work was announced for only one season, which made the fans upset because they wanted to see more action. But now, officially, second season is on its way.

David Production staff will produce the anime. This announcement was made on the 4th of July.

Cells At Work: Official Release Date

Director Kenichi Suzuki will not work in this project. Hirofumi Ogura will be working on the film and is also well known for his works at Gintama anime, Inuyasha and Jojo Bizzare adventures Stardust Crusaders.

Finally, the official release date of Cells At Work Theatrical Anime is out. It will go on air on 5 September 2020.
