In addition to this, he said that it has been fascinating to see the modern-day forensics at work dispelling the old age theories, specifically in the case of Marilyn Monroe, where they have unearthed new evidence and testimony.
The series consists of a total of six parts, and it features some of the highest-profile murders in the history of mankind. It also does the job of transporting the viewers into the past with expert rendered recreations of the crime.
‘Cold Case: History’ To Present New Reason Behind Marilyn Monroe’s Death
The series includes the Medici Case, where the two sons are slain in a struggle for power, and going back even further in the time, 3000 years ago, when Ramses III was violently murdered by his own kin.
Also, did Vincent Van Gogh actually commit suicide, or did someone shoot him dead, and were the two bodies in the Tower of London, the young princes, murdered by Richard III, or can DNA prove otherwise?
The series also throws light at the death of the prostitute, Rosemarie Nitribitt, in the year 1957, who was found hanged in her luxury apartment. Was it really a suicide or a murder that was linked to the German high society?
Marilyn Monroe’s death in the year 1962 still puzzles the journalists and criminologists today. A post mortem that stated that probably suicide by taking an overdose gave rise to a number of theories.Cold Case; History
