On the renewal, Christina Applegate used social media to share her views on the final season announcement saying, “I will miss these ladies. But we felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women. Thank you to all the fans. We will be getting back to work when it is safe to do so.”
Fans holding the show faced the dreaded Netflix cancelation curse should know the show always intended to be wrapped up early and not go on for seasons and seasons. In an interview, Liz Feldman always envisioned that it wouldn’t be “a long long-running show.
The good news is that Liz Feldman will be holding with Netflix once Dead to Me has concluded. She signed an overall deal, which means any new projects the creator has will come to Netflix. No other recent projects have yet to announced, however.
