Elvis Presley’s look-alike Grandson, Benjamin Keough, Dies!

Benjamin Keough, Elvis Presley’s grandson and Lisa Marie Presley’s son passed away on Sunday from a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound. Californian authorities found the 27-year-old in his Calabasas mansion.

Lisa Marie’s manager, said:

‘She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.’

Benjamin Keough was the grandson of Elvis Presley. Lisa Marie has three other children but Benjamin was like a look-a-like of Elvis Presley. Lisa said that everyone always grabbed Benjamin to take a photo as he looked similar to the superstar Elvis and that was just uncanny.

Keough died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Calabasas mansion, California. Police responded to the ‘rescue response call’ at about 6:30 AM on Sunday. When they arrived at the scene, police saw Benjamin suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Priscilla, 75, Benjamin’s grandmother, married Elvis in 1967 but they divorced six years later. Lisa Marie is the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla. Elvis died just nine years later in 1977 at just 42.

Riley Keough is Benjamin’s sister and an actress. She appeared in movies like ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and ‘The Lodge’.

According to the reports, Benjamin Keough made a deal with Universal Music for $ 5 million, but no music appears to have been released under that deal. Elvis’s grandson used to keep a low profile and had a private Instagram account.

Elvis Presley was a legend and often referred to as the “King of Rock and Roll” or simply “the King”. He died of a heart attack and use of multiple prescription drugs on Aug. 16, 1977. Fans all over the world expressed their grief over Benjamin’s death.
