The movie will be making a debut in theatres worldwide in the summer of the year 2022. A judge ruled against Depp on Monday in his lawsuit against The Sun, which he brought against the publication for an article of the year 2018, in which they called Depp a wife-beater.
The legal representatives for The Sun submitted 14 accounts of abuse relayed by Amber Heard, Johnny’s ex-wife, as part of the trial, which took place over the summer. Amber Heard also provided testimony during the case and alleged that she experienced slapping, punching, kicking, choking, and head butting at various times throughout their relationship.
Depp called the ruling surreal and said that he planned to appeal. He wrote that his resolve remains strong, and he intends to prove that the allegations against him are false. His life and career will not be defined by this moment in time.
The casting as the infamous dark wizard in the famous Harry Potter franchise was kept before the release of the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them movies of the year 2016. He made a brief experience in the final act of the movie.
In Harry Potter lore, Grindelwald is the chief antagonist and former close confidant of Albus Dumbledore, the Hogwarts headmaster who helped Harry Potter in his battle against Voldemort. But Depp has been a contentious figure on which to build a franchise since before the release of the 2018 film.
