Far Cry 6 Release Date Allegedly Leaked
Far Cry 6 is one of the highly anticipated games to launch next year. Someone leaked the details regarding the game ahead of its launch via Microsoft store. Ubisoft is yet to reveal the release date for the game; however, according to the report, they will launch the game on May 26, 2021. About this event, Microsoft has removed the launch date. They replaced it with a banner showing that the game is unavailable with a redeem code option.

Far Cry 6 is a sequel to Far Cry 5, released in 2018. Ubisoft has been developing the game for quite long. It is almost four years, and now it is finally ready for the fans to try a hand on. The company announced it officially in July during one of their events. Initially, the game was supposed to come out in February 2021, but due to a pandemic situation, the company announced a delay in the launch schedule.
The Far Cry 6 game is led by Giancarlo Esposito who lends his face and voice to the game and features the character “El Presidente” Anton Castillo. He rules the fictional Caribbean island of Yara and has been grooming his son and heir Diego as the future ruler. The game character you play is of Dani Rojas who is a part of the revolution to overthrow Castillo’s regime.
Where is the game available?
Ubisoft Toronto is the same company that developed Far Cry 5. They recently launched Watch Dogs: Legions. Far Cry 6 is said to be based on the Cuban Revolution. Company is set to launch this project on multiple platforms like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Stadia, Luna and PC.
The game is available for pre-ordering at the cost of INR 3,999 on consoles, Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. It could be possible that the date is accidental or just a site placeholder – but this is not the first time Microsoft has “accidentally” given away the release date for the upcoming game. The fans are eagerly waiting for it and hoping that this was not just an “accident”.
