After destroying every record in Box Office with the franchise’s first movie, ‘Avatar 2’ just revoked us with the release of conceptual art, with it they gave hints that a new world and new creatures are waiting for us.
After inactivity of almost 11 years, the team released four pictures, releasing on official Twitter handle solemnly assuring what we had perceived is Avatar, we will not just return to Pandora, some more exploration in new pars of the world might be ‘Underwater worlds’.
The movie left undefeated for over a decade, until ‘Avengers: Endgame’ became the highest-grossing movie. Now with adding the new sequel to the franchise, with new technology and spacious underwater sequences, the movie delayed first to December 2020 but now to December 2021. With taking time, they might be aiming for more paramount goals to achieve.
James Cameron is developing head for the next avatar movies. He stated, “From 2013 until now we’ve designed the whole world across four new movies’, Cameron added, “We’ve written, completed scripts for all four of those films. We’ve cast them and captured the second movie, third movie and first part of the fourth movie. We are practically done with live-action. I’ve got a couple of months in New Zealand in the spring, so we’re kind on track for what we’ve set to do for the schedule for December 2021”.
“Avatar 2” will return with most of its principal cast, including Sam Worthington plays Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana playing Neytiri and Sigourney Weaver. With the addition of those new characters like Kate Winslet, Oona Chaplin and Vin Diesel are joining them.
The movie will be released by Disney worldwide on December 17, 2021. With its sequel releasing in December 2023, December 2025, and December 2027 respectively.
