All the time when Scar Was Wrong!
Scar’s one of the greatest mistakes was that he wanted to kill all the state alchemists. Agreed that some were despicable and vile, however, not all. For example, Major Alex Armstrong and Edward Elric were nice people.
Scar should have killed Kimblee when he had the chance. Instead, he tortured him and because of all this stalling, Kimblee got away. Scar had him under control and should have finished him without torturing.
Winry’s parents, the Rockbell doctors were not genocidal killers or schemers. They also were nice people, instead of being in the Ishval. Scar killed both of them out of extreme rage. In Scar’s defense, he did not know what he was doing, but still, he killed two good people. There is no excuse for this.
Scar realized that Father was his real enemy and decided to stand against him. His mistake; he went to fight Father alone. He could have died in the fight as Father is way stronger than him.
Scar wanted to kill Edward Elric the moment he met him. He saw him as just another state alchemist and did not dig deeper. Ed was a different quest and all he wanted was world peace.
