In a tribute to the major PlayStation franchises, Ghost of Tsushima players can even do their best impersonations of Kratos and even others with these costumes. It is official, Ghost of Tsushima players now have the very chance to wear outfits inspired by PlayStation classic titles, including the God of WarHorizon Zero Dawn, and even more.

It represents a completely unique opportunity to pay homage to PlayStation originals, like God of War, and look to the future with more recent titles. Set during the very first Mongol invasion of Japan in the year 1274, Ghost of Tsushima has earned rave reviews since it was released over the summer.

The PS4 exclusive has recently won the Player’s Voice Award at this year’s Game Awards. There was significant competition from a PlayStation-stacked lineup, including The Last of Us Part II.

Players assume the role of Jin Sakai, a samurai who is on the path to vengeance, as he sets out to permanently stop the Mongolian raids that were being led by a fictional adversary Khotun Khan in 13th-century Japan.

The game has also received positive reviews since it was first announced at E3 back in 2018. Fans appreciate the emphasis placed on stealth and smooth game mechanics, visually stunning landscapes, and even the vibrant plot that offers a slight glimpse into ancient Feudal Japan.

There are even ongoing talks of a sequel that is already being in development stages over at Sucker Punch Productions. According to the Twitter account of the Ghost of Tsushima game, the four new costumes are available to use in the multiplayer Legends mode.

To collect each and every custom outfit, players need to complete any of the stories or survival missions using each and every of the four separate classes on or before January 15. If they manage to do that, all of the outfits will be added to the player’s wardrobe.

In a unique move as compared to the previous PlayStation franchises, Sucker Punch Productions planned from the very beginning to incorporate a multiplayer component into Ghost of Tsushima.

The free co-operative multiplayer, named Legends, was added to the base game in mid-October alongside new cosmetics and gameplay changes. Fans have well received the multiplayer as it explores Japanese mythology and pits players against each other in class-ranked challenges.
