God of High School season one ended with an explosive battle. Fans are already asking for the anime’s second season. In the first season-ending, we saw the Key-empowered Taek Jegal dominating everyone in the battle. However, Jin Mori’s newly awakened Sun Wukong form saves Seoul from Jegal’s greed.
This anime is surely one of the best anime of this year. So, the anime’s second season is already announced, and here’s everything you need to know about it!
God Of High School Season 2: Plot Details!
Obviously, as the first season just wrapped, there are no official plot details out yet. However, based on the first season-ending, we can make intelligent guesses and figure the next move.
The anime’s second season will see Jin Mori traveling to the West to find out more about the hidden being. As we saw, this being is lying dormant inside his subconscious. Mori’s body is the reincarnated the legendary Monkey King’s home.
We also saw that Mori remembered Sun Wukong‘s life in flashes and he’s getting some memory back. Mori is in search of answers and he’ll have to go the Monkey King’s homeland to get them. Of course, Mira and Daewi won’t let him go alone and so they decided to accompany him on this journey.
The Jegal Key
The Jegal Key is undoubtedly one of the most important items in the anime’s universe. It grants humans the power to break the “taboo” that stops them from being able to kill the gods. We saw in the first season that a merciless deity destroyed a large section of the South Korean capital. So, the power this key gives is highly important for any mortal.
Ilpyo‘s body was harvesting the key all this time. Jegal was able to separate Ilpyo from the Key and he achieved a mysteriously strong form after consuming it. The Key got disintegrated into fragments and dispersed after he also separated from the object by Mori/Sun Wukong. Ilpyo is the key’s guardian and he is on his way to recover these fragments.
The White-Haired Bishop Will Also Be Back!
We saw that Park Mujin aims to become the president. Seoul still hasn’t fully recovered even three months after Jeon Jaeson used the magic and nukes. Jeon’s attacks blew the god summoned by Nox’s Sang Mandeok out of the sky. Mujin pledges to take charge after seeing the common people panic and anxious over the catastrophe.
Mandeok made a hasty exit from the season finale’s battlefield after his apocalyptic plan failed miserably. The next time we saw him, he’s shaking hands with the traitor he installed in Mujin’s company watches. Clearly, this white-haired Bishop will be back in the second season.
We will bring more details very soon. Until then, stay tuned and keep reading for all the latest updates!
