Hetalia World Stars: Anime Adaptation’s Premiere Date Revealed!

Hetalia World Stars is the continuation of Hetalia Axis Power manga by Hidekaz Himaruya. Shueisha has published four volumes of the manga now. And, the series has been well received in the manga community. The manga deals with a comparison of political and historical events among the nations. Characters are the personification of the countries, reinterpreting well-known events with some light-hearted comedy. The story starts getting more interesting as it gets more detailed.

Finally, Hidekaz Himaruya’s Hetalia franchise makes its return to anime with Hetalia World Stars. The sixth iteration of the anime, Hetalia: The World Twinkle, ended its run back in 2015. Fans who have been following the series started getting impatient. But, after several years of silence, fans are excited to see a report that hints that the Hetalia franchise would indeed be returning for a new project next year. As of now, those reports have been confirmed. Hetalia World Stars will be getting an official anime adaptation next.

Release Date of Hetalia World Stars Anime 

A website and a Twitter account opened this Sunday(October 25) to announce that Hidekaz Humaruya’s Hetalia World Starts manga is inspiring a new anime adaptation. The anime is all set to premiere in spring 2021. No fixed date has been revealed yet. But, as usual, when out, you’ll be the first one to know.

The account also announced that the manga will resume and that Himaruya will launch a new manga with a secret theme in Shueisha’s Jump SQ magazine’s January issue on December 4.

Hetalia Movie

A feature-length animated film adaptation was announced on September 23, 2009, and was released on June 5, 2010. The film is entitled Paint it, White!. And, the eight main characters as well as supporting characters such as Liechtenstein, Sealand, Prussia, Finland, Cuba, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Romano, Belarus, Ukraine, Greece, Poland, Canada, Iceland, Spain, and Baltics are set to appear in the film.

The main plot of the movie involves a vast majority of characters being transformed into grey-white faceless aliens called Pictonians.
