Jackass 4 shooting has begun and things are not going turning out as planned. Two stars were injured on the sets and are now hospitalized. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film. The franchise is known for stunts that are often extreme as well as ridiculous. The Jackass crew have been hurting themselves and their friends for two decades now without any signs of stopping. Here’s everything you need to know about it!
Jackass 4: What Just Happened?
The franchise’s last installment arrived last in 2010. It has been a decade since fans have seen the likes of Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, and Bam Margera together. Ryan Dunn, a cast member, died tragically in 2011 in a car accident. Fans are definitely going to miss Ryan in the upcoming movie. Additionally, Ryan’s death took a huge toll on Maregra. Margera has struggled with drugs and alcohol ever since Dunn’s death.
COVID-19 pandemic caused the film to go on a hiatus. The filming just began and another tragedy has struck. Knoxville and Steve-O were hospitalized after just the second day of production on the movie. Margera shared the accident’s video on the Bam Margera HQ website. The video showed the duo jumping on a full-speed treadmill while wearing “band equipment,” i.e.: tubas.
The cast has now relatively turned old and are not now in their carefree twenties. However, Knoxville previously stated that being older just makes the stunts and the inevitable pain involved all the more hilarious. Knoxville’s carefree actions and thinking has landed him in a hospital bed right now. However, given everything that the Jackass pioneer has been through over the years, he’s likely still laughing through the pain.
Fans were relieved to hear that neither Knoxville nor Steve-O were seriously injured. They will be back to work as soon as they feel up for it. After all, this is not the first time either of them went to the hospital over a stunt. Also, seeing where they are going, this won’t be the last time as well.
So, what’s The Franchise All About?
The comedic documentary shows Johnny Knoxville as a head of a crew of stuntmen. These crew members are skateboarders and all-around lunatics. The crew prank, embarrass and torture each other in the name of fun with no limits.
The props they use are pretty much childlike- the boys don panda suits for a romp through Tokyo- to grotesque, and life-threatening. A golf cart demolition derby turns downright dangerous. Live gators nearly chomp maniac Steve-O. Filmmaker Spike Jonze and Knoxville are back and all set to test the public’s patience for the elderly.
We will bring more details very soon. Until then, stay tuned and keep reading for all the latest updates!
