Martin Scorsese has a new project Killers Of The Flower Moon and it stars Leonardo DiCaprio, a story based on the book of the same name. Killer Of The Flower Moon is a non-fiction book investigating the murders of Osage people in the 1920s. Scorsese never rests that’s for sure after the success of his mob film The Irishman he’s back at it again. This time though he has promised it’s not a Mob film.
Killers Of The Flower Moon Details:
The movie is set to star both Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Deniro. It’s an all-star team, literally. It is promised to be a different movie than what Scorsese is famous for. Martin Scorsese said in an interview that it’s supposed to be a Western! Deniro who played Frank Sheeran in the Irishman will be playing William Hale in the movie. The role of Leonardo DiCaprio is still undisclosed.
The story of Killers Of The Flower Moon is set in 1920-21 Oklahoma. Scorsese’s quoted “The film is mainly about the Osage, an Indian tribe that was given horrible territory, which they loved because they said to themselves that Whites would never be interested in it.”
He further quoted that “We discovered oil there and, for about ten years, the Osage became the richest people in the world, per capita. Then, as with the Yukon and the Colorado mining regions, the vultures disembark, the white man, the European arrives, and all was lost.”
The development has been under for 3 years since 2017. The story is a complicated set of different issues. Martin Scorsese well known for thrill-filled storytelling promises another masterpiece but will it be worth it. Will an All-star movie like this survive the new story-telling environment growing around the word. Who knows how it will be received after this pandemic stuff happening. Killers Of The Flower Moon – release Date is yet to be out but it’s set to be out in March of 2021.
