Kingdom Season 3: Release Date
Kingdom Season 1 aired from 2014 to 2017 in Korean. It premiered on Netflix in 2019. The second season landed on Netflix on March 13, 2020. This series is very popular and has a huge fan base.

The series is based on the comic book ‘The Kingdom of Gods’ by Kim Eun-hee. Kim Seong-hun is the series’ director. Interestingly, the Kingdom is Netflix’s first Korean series ever.
Unfortunately, Netflix has not yet renewed the third season. The coronavirus pandemic has made everything uncertain. Many series and movies are at a hiatus right now. We can expect the upcoming season to land in later 2021.

The story revolves around a prince named Lee Chang. Ju Ji-hoon portrays the main character. The prince accidentally comes across a strange and mysterious building full of dead bodies. He was investigating his father’s illness when he finds this building.
He investigated the dead bodies and came to know that belong to physician who was treating his father. Bae Doo-na plays the physician’s role. The building staff told the prince that the bodies are not dead. They said that these bodies will rise again!
Meanwhile, a plague pervades over the entire city. The prince and physician have to deal with the plague and also save the royal throne from being overthrown.

Kingdom has a huge fan base and everyone wants it to be renewed. One of the writers revealed that the season is definitely coming for season three. Kim Eun-hee said that she would love to even make 10 seasons if given the opportunity.
