According to the 11th issue of Kodansha’s Evening magazine, Kei Toume’s Kudan no Himegimi manga will resume after a four-month break in the magazine’s next issue on May 26. The manga went out first on January 14.
This manga revolves around the relationship between Mao Hosaka and Yokiko Hasekura. They are two high schoolers who are also members of the rock band Artago. Mao is the daughter of the guitarist of a famous rock band. Whereas, Yokiko is a talented singer who is beautiful but
Kudan No Himegimi is a continuation of Toume’s earlier Kudan Noise no Himegimi (Static Noise Princess) manga. The original manga was out on Gentosha’s Comic Birz magazine in July 2016. Also, Gentosha published the third compiled volume in January 2019.
However, Comic Birz ended the serialization in June 2018. But, the manga was relaunched with a new title, Kūdan no Himegimi in Kodansha’s in the Evening magazine in January 2019. Also, Kodansha released the first compiled book volume last October.
As per reports, Tokyopop published Toume’s Lament of the Lamb manga in English. In 2003, Lament of the Lamb inspired a four-episode original video animation (OVA). The currently airing Toume’s Sing “Yesterday” for Me (Yesterday oUtatte) manga is inspiring a television anime by Doga Kobo and Yoshiyuki Fujiwara that premiered on April 4.
