Let Them All Talk Trailer Out: What’s So Special About Meryl Streep’s Next?

The online streaming service providing platform of HBO, HBO Max, has recently released the first trailer for Steven Soderbergh and Meryl Streep‘s highly anticipated film, Let Them All Talk.

The comedy film follows a renowned author, Alice Hughes, whose role is played by Meryl Streep. She embarks on a journey with old friends in the hopes of healing old wounds. Her nephew also comes with them to accompany them until he finds himself involved with a young literary agent.

Tensions begin to rise as they are all stuck together on a cruise ship, and the character of Streep is forced to confront the ways in which she may have hurt the ones she loves the most.

Dianne Wiest, Gemma Chan, Candice Bergen, and Gemma Chan round out the cast. The screenplay of the show was written by Deborah Eisenberg, MacArthur Fellowship recipient. 

Meryl Streep has previously starred in The Laundromat, Soderbergh’s Panama Papers drama, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in the year 2019 and made its debut on Netflix.

She is headlining The Prom of Ryan Murphy, a movie adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name, in which she will be reunited with Nicole Kidman. Streep will also be having a voice role in the animated short film of Apple TV Plus, “Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth.”

Steven Soderbergh, the Oscar-winning director, was recently an executive producer on the Quibi show titled, Wireless, in addition to Bill and Ted Face the Music. He also has another movie in the works at HBO Max, “No Sudden Move,” starring Benecio de Toro, Jon Hamm, Don Cheadle, David Harbour, and Ray Liotta.

The movie is produced by Gregory Jacobs for Extension 765 and Warner Max, and the executive producers are Joseph Malloch and Ken Meyer. Let Them All Talk is all set for release on December 10.
