Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club: New Promo Out!

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a Japanese multimedia spin-off project from the Love Live series and its game series Love live! School Idol Festival. The idol group featured in the project, named Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, was first introduced in 2017 as a “Perfect Dream Project”. And it was initially created as part of the game Love Live! School Idol Festival All-Stars.

Tomoyuki Kawamurae is directing the anime and is in charge of the series scripts. Jin Tanaka is in charge of the story scripts. And the Naoki Endo is in charge of the music. While Takumi Yokota is designing the characters.

The story of of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club centers on the members of the school idol club in Nijigasaki, and their attempt to prevent the club from being abolished. The school is located in Odaiba, Tokyo. And it is popular due to its free school style and diverse majors. With this let’s get straight to the big news.


Release Date

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club debuted a new promotional video on Saturday. The video confirmed that the anime will premiere on 3rd October 2020.

Where can I watch Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club?

The series will premiere on the Tokyo MX channel and on the Bandai Channel. It will be available on Line Live and Youtube Live streaming services on 3rd October at 10:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EDT).


Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, TV Aichi, Shizuoka Asahi TV, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.

The anime’s opening theme song will go on sale on October 21, and the anime’s ending theme song will go on sale on November 4. The official website for the anime’s mail order service will open in October, and a special will air and stream before the anime starts on September 27.


What is Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club about?

A group of nine school idols from Nijigasaki High, located in Odaiba. Unlike their counterpart groups µ’s and Aqours, the idols of Nijigasaki High do not form one cohesive group and instead compete with each other. Initially divided into trios based on the various apps/services that each girl was associated with, the girls were later divided into subunits via popular vote. The Nijigasaki school idols officially made their debut as the third major school idol group in the Love Live! franchise with the release of Love Live! School idol festival All Starts.
