Jason Momoa’s “Braven” is coming to Netflix this December
One of the most awaited “Momoa” movies on Netflix is all set to bless our screens this Christmas season!! Netflix US will release Jason Momoa’s movie in December. Braven features Momoa as a logger named Joe Braven.

Joe’s father, Linden, gets in a barroom brawl as he mistakes a woman for his wife and lets her into the bar, which results in him being taken to the hospital. Due to this, the family decides to take a vacation where they run into a drug dealer. The story features Joe defending his family from a critical situation with lethal drug runners.
Lin Oeding directs Jason Momoa’s Braven. Mike Nilson and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett write it. The movie stars Raising Hope actor Garret Dillahunt, James Cameron’s Avatar supporting actor Stephen Lang, Wipeout host Jill Wagner, and Turning Paige actor Brendan Fletcher. The movie collected a total of $826,472 at the box office.
The film got a green flag from critics and the audience. The IMDb ratings reach a 6.0 and Metacritic to a 61. However, it sunk at the box office with numbers not matching the $1m mark internationally. No figurative records are available for the domestic business the film made.

Lionsgate banner distributed the movie and is produced by Saban Films. No official deal comes out between Lionsgate and Netflix; however, there are multiple movies from the flag on the streaming platform. Netflix US is the late one to get the film, while the UK and Japan are currently streaming the movie.

The movie was the “forgotten” one. There are multiple movies in the action genre that launched recently. Ava, starring Jessica Chastain, is due to hit on December 7 and Trial 9 on December 8. However, Momoa’s most significant project of his career is Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. He said that Denis is a “cinematic genius,” and the action stuff was unimaginable. He also noted that the Aquaman actor “Cried like a baby in one of the shots.” Dune is all set to hit the screens on October 1, 2021.
