Netflix: Ryan Murphy’s ‘Hollywood’ to return with a second season?

‘Hollywood’ is an American drama miniseries produced by Ryan Murphy. The show premiered on May 1, 2020, on Netflix.

Plot –

The series revolves around a group of aspiring filmmakers and actors during the post World War II era. All of them, while trying their luck in the Hollywood industry, show a glimpse of the truth behind the Hollywood’s Golden Age.

The show mainly received mixed reviews from the viewers and the critics. While some praised the performance of the cast, others called out the makers for its approach.

Season two and what we know so far –

The show initially got released as a ‘one season’ only. But now the makers are having second thoughts over ‘if the story can be taken forward.’

Responding to a fan’s question on Instagram, the show producer Ryan Murphy gave a hint about the show having a possibility of a second season.

A fan questioned, “Well, HOLLYWOOD was planned as a limited series, but it’s become so popular that everyone is asking for another season.”

Murphy responded saying,
“So who knows? I sure do love this cast, though. xo”
