OK! Netflix‘s Norsemen is an incredibly funny series, no doubt. Based on the story of the Vikings but with a sprinkle of humor. With 2 seasons out already and 3rd on the way right about now, it’s a good time to look into what the story is inspired from.
NORSEMEN AND THE STORY:
The story follows a bunch of Vikings living in the 8th Century. Aired under the title “Vikingane” in Norway and then released on Netflix as a whole season. A Roman is kidnapped in the series and put in with the Vikings. The new culture seems to discomfort him and the shenanigans if Vikings are funny to watch.
The Story is funny to its bone. With a feel like The Monty Python Movies, Norsemen is inspired by the very well known Vikings and their lifestyle.
It’s not exactly historically accurate but who cares when you can laugh. It consists of 6 episodes per season.
The title of the next 6 episodes of the 3rd season is.
- Pour the Hat
- Bachelor Party
- Wedding and Blót
- War Table
- Do You Believe in Dragons?
- Whip the Balls
The new six episodes will go further into the life of vikings and the wedding planned. The episodes are already aired on Norway and are widely received. Netflix airing all the episodes right now will make the validation global. The release date is mentioned below
Jon Iver Helgaker and Jonas Torgersen returned to write and direct all the episodes of Norsemen. Season 3 will be out on Netflix on the 22nd of July internationally. It was recorded in both English and Norwegian language so you won’t have to worry about subtitles.
