They were cancelled just weeks after their respective fall debuts. The reason behind the cancellation of the shows have been mentioned by the creators, and we would like to inform you about them.

According to the creators, the decision of cancellation has been taken keeping in mind the rising production costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has played a significant part in the decision of the cancellation of the shows. However, we would also like to tell you that the remaining episodes of both the shows will be aired.

NEXT and Filthy Rich | Both Cancelled at Fox

Filthy Rich starred Kim Cattrall, whom we had previously seen in Sex and the City, as the mother of an ultra-wealthy family of evangelists who were thrown for a loop when the patriarch, whose role was played by McRaney dies in a plane crash. And several of Gerald’s legitimate children come out of the woodwork.

The primetime soap made its debut in the month of September to 2.9 million viewers and a 0.4 demo rating, which tumbled to 2.1 million viewers, and 0.3 in the second week. Till now, five episodes of the show have aired.

NEXT starred John Slattery, who has previously worked in Mad Men, as a disgraced tech pioneer artificial intelligence creation begins to run amok and threatens to destroy society as we know it.

Fernanda Andrade, whom we have previously seen in NCIS: Los Angeles, co-starred as a Homeland Security cybercrime agent, with Eve Harlow, who has previously worked in The 100, and Michael Mosely, whom we have seen in Castle earlier, leading the supporting cast.

The show premiered earlier this month to a total of 1.8 million viewers, and a 0.3 demo rating, just two episodes have aired so far.
