One Day At A Time: Premiere Pushed! What Happened?

Norman Lear has waited for as long as 45 years for his One Day At A Time to make a return to CBS. He will now have to wait for another week. The network premiere of the Pop Television show was originally slated to be premiered for October 5, but it has now been pushed further one more week to October 12, Monday.

The reason behind this is the move of the New England Patriots game for October 4, Sunday to October 5, Monday, against the Kansas City Chiefs, after the Patriots star quarterback Cam Newton and then Jordan Ta’amu, Chiefs practice squad quarterback, tested positive for the novel coronavirus. CBS will be carrying out the game, which will be starting at 7 PM ET.
