Peninsula: When Is Sequel Of Train In Busan Arriving On Netflix?

The highly anticipated sequel of the movie, Train to Busan has recently made its debut in the theatres across the world. All the subscribers of the online streaming service providing platform, Netflix, are having a query, whether Peninsula will be coming to Netflix or not. However, there is a piece of good news for those fans for them to be delighted that there is a shred of evidence that suggests that the sequel of Train to Busan will be coming to Netflix in the year 2021.

This movie is the sequel of the super hit zombie genre movie, Train To Busan. It is a South Korean action-horror film which is written by Yeon San-ho and Park Joo-suk, and directed by Yeon Sang-ho. Although the sequel has not received the level of appraisal that the original movie got, but the movie is getting popular in its own right. Also, this movie has managed to enlist its name in the most demanded movie on the streaming platform, Netflix.

Plot of Peninsula | The Sequel to Train to Busan

Jung Seok along with Chul-min, his brother-in-law, is hired to return to the South Korean city of Incheon, four years after surviving the viral outbreak in South Korea. Their only mission is to retrieve a food truck that has $20 million of cash hidden inside. However, a desolate landscape which is full of flesh-eating zombies and the most dangerous survivors that remain are standing in their way.

Netflix Release Details

The streaming giant has not officially confirmed yet, whether the sequel of the hit movie Train to Busan is going to arrive or not on Netflix. However, we have got some pieces of evidence on our side that suggests that the film can make its way to the streaming platform in the near future.

Netflix signed an exclusive streaming deal with Well Go USA, the film distributor in the year 2011. It is not clear for how long this contract has been in place, but it has most likely been renewed since the year 2011. We have witnessed earlier that many of the films from Well Go USA have made their appearances on Netflix, including the prequel of Peninsula, Train to Busan, Ip Man franchise, and Freaks.
