PS5 is finally available now! Long-awaited by gaming console is now available on Amazon. In this article, we will be talking about how to buy, where to buy, specifications of PS5 and what now!

When will PS5 be available to pre-order?

Electronics giants Best Buy, Target and GameStop are now accepting sign-ups for people who wish to be notified. Amazon and Walmart are not offering notification sign-ups but have created PlayStation 5 landing pages. The all-new Amazon Pre Order page going live. However, the exact date of release is not disclosed but it is expected to release by July end.

Release Date:

Sony earlier confirmed a “holiday 2020” release window for PlayStation 5. However, the dates were pushed back because of the ongoing pandemic. But one thing we can say for sure is that PS5 is still releasing in 2020, and most likely in late July.

How much will the PS5 cost?

We still don’t know about the exact price of the console. But in an event on June 11, Sony said pricing and other details will come “at a later date”. Sony said in the past that PS5’s price will be “appealing to gamers” because of its specs. There are going to be two versions of the console; namely The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition.

The gaming console will launch with two models, including a slimmer Digital Edition that’ll presumably be cheaper. The first model of Sony’s next-generation gaming console will come with a 4K Blu-ray disc drive. The second will come without one and is dubbed the PS5 Digital Edition.

Accessories and Specifications:

Sony revealed some of the first-party PS5 accessories in an event. The PlayStation 5 will come with a new headset, media remote, controller-charging dock, and camera. The console will stand upright or lay on its side.


PS5’s One of the most notable specs is it boasts a custom 825GB SSD with an expandable NVMe SSD storage slot, which will ensure faster install times as well as faster loading–though not all NVMe SSDs will be capable of keeping up with the console. The console supports ray tracing, 3D audio, and PlayStation VR, and it also has a 4K UHD Blu-ray drive. Sony revealed that console is enough to support 4K resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate–that’s double the refresh rate of most TVs, which typically run at 60Hz.
