There are chances that the upcoming movie of Dan Trachtenberg titled, Predator, under Disney, maybe set back in the past according to the details of the plot that have been revealed recently.

The new details of the plot that has been revealed for the fifth part of Predator hints that the film might take place back in the past. John McTiernan was the director of the first Predator movie that was released in the year 1987, and it starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold played the role of Dutch, and his role in the first part of the franchise has become one of the most iconic characters right up there with Conan the Barbarian and The Terminator.

Similarly, the Yautja became one of the most recognizable film monsters of the decade. You may already be aware of the fact that the Predators have shown up in about five films since the year 1987, none of which were even able to match the critical praise of the original movie.

While the fans of the series are worried that the franchise was officially dead after 20th Century Fox was acquired by Disney, it was recently announced that the fifth part of the franchise is in the stages of development.

Well, according to the details that have been revealed recently that it will be set in the past before settlers stole the land of the native Americans. It also seems that the fifth part may be going under the working title, Skulls, which is said to be following a Comanche woman who goes against traditions and gender norms to become a warrior.
