It is said that the reboot of Pretty Little Liars will be following a new storyline with all new characters. Any network for the upcoming series has not been chosen yet, though it is said by the sources that HBO Max is the top contender.

The original series was based on the popular Y.A. book series of Sara Shephard, and it followed a group of teenagers who are dealing with a web of secrets following the murder of their friend. The series ran for seven seasons from the year 2010-2017. A short-lived spinoff of the series, The Perfectionists, which starred Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish, aired for one season in the year 2019.
