Re: Zero Season 2 Full Recap

Re: Zero Season 1 had a perfect and calm ending where Subaru saves the day. He also gathers the courage to propose Emilia. On the other hand, season 2 is a massacre since the beginning. As Subaru’s sense of purpose is restored, it follows a series of dreadful events.

If compared to Betelgeuse, Lye and Regulas are nothings. But they are surely stronger if compared with Crusch and Rem. Things get ugly when Lye and Regulas cross paths with Crusch and Rem. Regulas attacks Crusch and rips his arm off completely.

This is not enough for Regulas. He makes sure that Rem meets something even worse so he sucks her memories out of her. When the dust settles, Rem is left with memories of nothing but her name, while Crusch lacks one whole limb.

When Subaru hears what happened, he gets furious. As always, he decides to kill himself just to be able to go back in time to fix things. Unfortunately, nothing changes, and the conditions of his friends stay the same.

Subaru’s Attempt goes in Vain

Felis starts to panic when he hears about the attack. He starts blaming Crusch’s connection with Emilia for everything’s that happened. He also asks Crusch to avoid talking to Emilia, but everything disagrees with him. Now, it’s all down to Subaru to find a legit way to deal with the Witch’s cult.
