S.W.A.T: Season 4 Production Begins; Know The Release Date Here

S.W.A.T. started production from August 4 after a long break of five months. The production of the fourth season of the C.B.S. drama started recently. The break was due to the lockdown and restrictions imposed on the entertainment industry to avoid getting affected by the coronavirus. It was a great step taken by the governments of their respective countries to ensure the safety of citizens.

The situation has not improved much, but still, the production was started after conducting preliminary tests. The shooting started in the morning of August 4 for the fourth season as the situation remained fluid until the last minute. Filming of the show was wrapped after a full-day shoot in Santa Clarita.

S.W.A.T. Resumed Productions | Know the Release Date

The production of S.W.A.T. is done by CBS TV Studios and Sony Pictures T.V., and it moved up from midseason to the fall schedule of C.B.S. just two weeks ago to replace Survivor. The fall installment of Survivor was sidelined by the ongoing pandemic. Talking about S.W.A.T., it is going to be the first broadcast primetime scripted Television series that has started its production again in the period of emergence from the COVID-19 related lockdown.

However, it is still the second U.S. series from Sony which has started its production, The Young and the Restless remains the first daytime drama to resume shooting. The Good Doctor, the medical drama from A.B.C. Studios is next in the list to resume productions. It will be resuming its filming form the next week, but the pre-production going on in Vancouver has been put on hold over the coronavirus testing issue with the B.C. Council. However, the studio is working on resolving this issue

As you now know that the shooting for S.W.A.T. season 4 started recently, it will be too early to expect it is releasing anytime soon.
