The popular web series will be revisiting the episodes of the original movie to reveal that Zack has always been a human being who is completely horrible. Mark-Paul Gosselaar revealed that he is a huge fan of the series and he some of that is in the revival, which he absolutely loves: Zack Morris being a little offensive and a sort of not being on the right side of the things.

Unlike the original series, the newly revived series is going to be a single-camera comedy, a la The Office. Also, there is not going to be any studio audience or canned laughter.

In the Saved By The Bell revival series, the governor of California, Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many high schools with low income, then proposes that they send all the affected students to the most well-funded schools in the state, including the Bayside High. The influx of all the new students gives the privileged Bayside kids a much-needed dose of the reality, including the son of Zack, Mac, Roswell, New Mexico’s Mitchell Hong, and the son of Jessie, Jamie.
