Sing On! Is an upcoming Netflix show. We all have always wanted to spend some quality time with our family. At the end of the day, whatever we do, we do it for our family. Most of the time, we are busy doing our chores and have little time to spare. Sometimes when we do get the time, we wonder what to do so that all can enjoy it. One of our most enjoyable things to do is ‘karaoke’.
Sing On!: Netflix’s New Reality Show!
Netflix’s upcoming show is for you if you’ve ever wowed friends, family, or co-workers with your karaoke skills. Get along if you managed to move a whole room to tears with your rendition of Lisa Loeb’s “Stay”. The reality competition roster is growing with shows like Rhythm + Flow, Nailed It! and The Big Flower Fight.Sing On!
The streaming giant’s new karaoke series Sing On! is coming next month. It is an American spin on a concept they’ve already explored with versions from Spain and Germany. The concept is to put amateur performers in competition for a cash prize. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star (and gifted singer) Tituss Burgess hands out the cash price to the winners.

This gives us more details about the upcoming reality show. This show is not like every other typical karaoke show we saw in the past. This new show is a variation and gives us something new. This is also way different than our nation’s celeb-powered Carpool Karaoke obsession.
A New Twist!
Additionally, there is some ominous twist in the show. Sing On! ditches human judges in favor of the robotic “vocal analyzer”. This vocal analyzer also tracks your performance as you sing. Burgess explained that as the contestants sing in tune, more cash is added to the jackpot. The more the contestants sing in tune, the more cash they can win. Burgess further explained that the show prizes accuracy above all else.Sing On!
I know what you must be thinking. You all must have that accuracy is only half the battle in a karaoke performance. Not to worry, the showrunner has figured all out.
The robot-judge hopefully finds a way to factor in those crucial intangibles. Obnoxious showmanship and irrational passion are a few of the other important intangibles. These parameters can help make performance really pop up and make a significant effect. The robot-judge is all set to show us what it can do when the show premieres on September 16.
We will bring more insights very soon. Until then, stay tuned and keep reading for all the latest updates!
