Princess Syalis is trying to get some good sound sleep with her eyes shut and forty winks catching some Zs. Many centuries ago, in olden times people and demons used to live together. Well, not with harmony, but they did live together.
At that time, a demon king kidnaps a human princess and imprisons her in his castle. The entire kingdom gets furious but is afraid of the demon. During these tragic times, a hero arises to spearhead Project Rescue Our Princess! The imprisoned princess waits for her knight in shining armor to come and rescue her.
The dungeon is boring for the princess who once had an entire palace to herself. So she decides to kill time by sleeping. Now if only she could get comfortable…and didn’t suffer from insomnia…
The manga premiered in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in May 2016. Kumanomata launched the original manga. The manga is currently ongoing. The manga’s latest came out on April 16. The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the entire schedule.
