Its celebration time for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas as they are officially parents of a baby girl now. Sofie Turner gave birth to their daughter on 22nd July in a hospital in LA, according to TMZ.com. The couple has named their little angel “Willa Jonas”.
They are obsessed with the birth of the newest member of the family. A rep told media, “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby”.Only last year, there was a buzz about the Hollywood couple’s double wedding. They had an impromptu wedding in Las Vegas and again tied a knot on 1st May 2019 in Paris.
The couple is keeping it private.
The couple never publically declared Sophie’s pregnancy but media had been taking hints about it since February. In May, we saw Sophie flaunting her baby bump for the first time in public. It was also evident from the regular activities of the couple during the period of quarantine, like the walks they took, that Sophie was expecting.
Only a few days back, they were seen shopping in LA for the three of them. It was clear from their cart, that the welcoming of baby Willa was in order.
The new parents have only shared this news with their close family and friends. They are very protective of their baby girl. Therefore, are only letting a few people around her amidst the pandemic situation.
What does ‘Willa’ signify?
The name Willa is a derivative of an old German term will which means “will” or “desire”. It could also mean ” helmet” or “protection” which is legit, as this is only the first child of Sofie Turner and Joe Jonas. The baby is the third child in the family after the two children of Kevin Jonas. The youngest brother of the American pop band “Jonas Brothers“, Nick Jonas, married Indian actress Priyanka Chopra in 2018, but have no kids yet!
The new parents are receiving warm wishes from all friends, family and fans! However, they haven’t released any pictures of baby Willa anywhere yet. The couple wants to keep it an intimate affair and enjoy this newfound happiness with their daughter for now.
