In fact, an adorable video of himself and his children playing the theme of The Mandalorian was shared recently by him. It recently won some Emmy awards and released the first trailer of the second season.

Star Wars: Chewbacca Actor Hilariously Recreates The Mandalorian Theme With His Family
Currently, there is no official word on whether Suotamo will be playing the role of Chewbacca again or not. Still, there have been campaigns for a Solo sequel as well as the rumours that a Lando series coming to the online streaming platform, Disney Plus eventually, which means that there is a chance his days of playing the role of Wookie are not done.
The cast and executive producers of The Mandalorian recently shared some of the information with Entertainment Weekly about what to expect from the new episodes. Fans of the series got to see the first glimpse of the second season and learned that not every casting rumour is true. During the interview, the executive producers of the show Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau teased what the fans of the series can expect from the upcoming season.

“The new season is about introducing a larger story in the world,” Favreau explained. “The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its flavour, and hopefully we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.” Adds Filoni, “Everything gets bigger, the stakes get higher, but also the personal story between the Child and the Mandalorian develops in a way I think people will enjoy.”
