Stranger things Season 3 ended with a 77- minute long explosive finale. Even after such a long episode, the season ended with a lot of questions still unanswered.
But we don’t need to worry anymore. It is because Netflix is back with season four of our favorite sci-fi horror Stranger Things. This indeed means, all the sleep that we are losing after watching the finale episode, will not be happening anymore. Or so, we hope!

When will Stranger Things season 4 hit the screens?
As of now, there is no information regarding the official release date. But, if the Duffer brothers are following the pattern, then we can guess that it will be out by October. Release date of the previous seasons is showing a pattern, which is:
First Season: July 2016
Second Season: October 2017
Third Season: July 2019
It is not wrong to assume that this season will be a big “holiday” release as per the US calendar.
But, we still don’t know whether it will release this year or in 2021. This is because we have seen how all the movies and shows are delaying its release date due to the current pandemic.
As per reports, Netflix temporarily suspended the production back in March. Although initially, it was just a two-week pause, now the filming has not yet resumed.
On the positive side, we have already been treated with the season-four trailer. Also, the writers teased us all with a photo of the complete season-four script in June, so we’re hoping that we will soon be able to hear some news.A still from Stranger Things

Who will be the cast members for this season?
Stranger Things is one of those shows that is famous for its plot and even more famous for it’s larger than lifecast. So, the cast members for this season are: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve (Joe Keery), Max (Sadie Sink), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Robin (Maya Hawke), Erica (Priah Ferguson), and Karen (Cara Buono).
We saw a character returned in season 3, Dr. Sam Owens (Paul Reiser). He used to work for the US Department of Energy and was also appointed as the Director of Operations at Hawkins Lab. Dr. Sam Owens will most likely be seen in Season 4 as well.
There were some significant losses in Season 3. One of the most prominent ones was Max’s stepbrother Billy. He became one of the victims of Mind Flayer, but with the help of Eleven, he overcame the mind control. Then, while saving Hawkins, he had to sacrifice himself ultimately.
Also, according to TVLine, the Duffer Brothers want to bring four new recurring roles: three teenagers and one adult.A still from Stranger Things

Well, the adult is obviously David Harbour, who will be returning as Hopper. But, it is still not clear how his character survived exactly. Harbour has revealed that season four will be showing more about his back story. It will go back to season two, where Eleven found boxes in Hopper’s attic labeled “dad,” “Vietnam,” and “New York.” Now, we have to wait to know about the three new teenagers.
What will be the plot for Stranger Things season 4? (SPOILERS)
As we all saw, Season three ended on a very emotional note with Joyce, Will, and Jonathan packing up their home in Hawkins and moving it to a removal van. We also saw Eleven in tow following Hopper’s apparent death.
We don’t know where they are going, but they will hopefully return in the fourth season. It is clear by now that, no matter whatever obstacles come, the gang always finds a way to reunite and save the day.
One of the most significant changes will be Eleven losing all her powers. She was unable to lift even her teddy bear off the top shelf of her wardrobe. But we are agreeing with Mike at the moment. Her psychokinetic abilities will be back. Or so, we hope!
But, on the other note, some fan theories are coming that maybe Eleven will not get her powers back. With the monster bite on her leg in season three, the Mind Flayer can control her. It can make her turn against the town of Hawkins: “If Eleven is infected, the Mind Flayer could control her like it did with Billy, Will and the flayed, to eventually destroy her or use her to get more control/spread.”
Also, While the Gate looked like it has been shut, with another season (or two) to go, surely that’s not the last we see it. Also, we have no new information about Demogorgans. Are they are captured, or will they return?A still from Stranger Things

The Duffer brothers said in an interview that season four is “going to open up a little bit… not necessarily in terms of scale, in terms of special effects, but open up in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins”.
So, as of now, we know that Season 4 is going to unfold a lot of new mysteries.
Stay safe and keep reading for more updates.
