After the 77-minute finale of Stranger Things, there were seriously some big questions left. We are talking about The Battle of Starcourt. Well, friends, you don’t need to despair, the science-fiction horror show will be making its return for the fourth season on the online streaming platform, Netflix. However, the return date of the fourth season is still a bit upside down. This clearly indicates that all of the loose ends of the show will be tightened eventually.
We do know that the cast and crew of Stranger Things reunited on the sets in early October, and also that the filming of the fourth season was started then. The online streaming service, Netflix, however, suspended all the production activities back in March 2020, due to the worldwide spread of the COVID-19 virus. Initially, the intention of the production houses were to limit the suspension of production to two weeks. But as far as we know, the filming has not been resumed yet.

David Harbour said in an Instagram Question and Answer back in March that he thought that the new episodes were expected to come out early in the next year. The actor playing the role of Hopper also said that the release would probably be pushed back due to the ongoing pandemic.
Finn Wolfhard recently signed up to another science-fiction series named New-Gen, with Anya Chalotra of The Witcher. He told The Guardian that it had never happened before because there was never a realistic approach to scheduling. The plus point is, we have already been given a treat of the trailer of the fourth season. The writers teased us all in June with a picture of the complete script of season four. Still, we are hoping that things will tick over.
