Supernatural first debuted in 2005 and is one of the highest-rated shows of all time. Starring Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Katie Cassidy in lead roles, the show revolves around two brothers who hunt demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings.
The series is now all set to release its fifteenth season in 2020. The makers in March, announced that with this season, the series would bid adieu to its fans.
Season 15: The last of Supernatural:
The cast and crew indicated the fans that this season is going to be one of the best ones, and the characters will get their best endings.
Executive Producers Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer, in a statement, said, “It is now most important for us to give these characters that we adore the send-off they deserve.”
With two episodes still left at the production stage, the making of Supernatural has been halted at the moment amid the Covid19 Pandemic.
The series was scheduled to conclude in May with a total number of twenty episodes. But only thirteen episodes have been broadcasted (till March 2020), which marks that seven episodes are still on hold.
However, Dabb has promised that the show will conclude despite the unexpected delays.
Screen Rant’s Michael Kennedy mentions, Supernatural 16 can be in process due to seven full-length episodes still put on hold.
He further adds, “Supernatural’s writers and producers now have extra months to tweak and improve the script, possibly even incorporating fan suggestions toward the episodes already aired in season 15.”
