The Boys Season 2: Official Details Here

There is a piece of good news for all the fans of The Boys, who have been waiting for such a long time for the release date to be revealed. They are going to be reunited with the original cast of the series in The Boys Season 2. Another good news is that the show has also been renewed for the third season at a virtual panel of SDCC in July.

The show has been adapted from the Garth Ennis Comics, which is a very popular comics. The second season will be witnessing a group of nobodies on the run from The Seven. It is a corporate-owned corrupt group of superheroes. Eric Kripke, the creator of the show, says that they are screwed.

Kripke revealed in June that the fans would not just be getting the release date of The Boys Season 2, but along with that, they will be getting only three episodes on the first day of release.

The Boys Season 2 Release Date and Details

Even before making a debut on the online streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video, the second season of the show, was announced by the streaming service. This move of Amazon Prime proved to be a well-planned move as the show proved to be one of the best Prime shows currently.

The release date of The Boys Season 2 is set to be September 4, 2020, and this date was revealed on a live stream on June 26. The creator of the show also announced that rather than releasing the show at once, they would be releasing only the first three episodes of the second season.
