The Chronicles Of Narnia is a series which is based on the novel, The Chronicles Of Narnia by C.S.Lewis. There were a total of seven books, from which three were converted. They make $1.5 Billion across the board.

Andrew Adamson directed the first two films, and Michael Apted directed the third one. Joe Johnston was to be the director of the fourth film, but in 2018 it was announced that the fourth one would be made with new modification by Netflix.


The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe – The first film was released on December 9, 2005. It is based on the novel The Chronicles of Narnia, and it earned $745 million worldwide.

Prince Caspian – This is the second movie of the series, and was released on May 16, 2008. It was last distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It earned $419 million worldwide.

The Voyage of The Dawn Treader – The third part was released on December 10, 2010. 20th Century Fox replace Disney for the future installment. It grossed over $415 million worldwide.


The movie starts with the four kids who travel through a wardrobe to a magical world, Narnia. There they met Aslan, the mystical lion, who can speak and also the true king of Narnia.

There was news around two years ago that Netflix will make the movie The Chronicles of Narnia. This the first time that the rights of all the seven books have been taken by Netflix, for which Netflix paid $250 million for the rights

Is Netflix will start from the first series, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe or they will pick from the fourth series, The Silver Chair?  There is no such official news about that. If we talk about the releasing date of the film or the trailer of the film, then it is not announced officially.
