Jacob Laval, the child actor who is best known for series such as Jessica Jones and The Plot Against America, will be playing the titular role in the upcoming family drama titled, The Unbreakable Boy.
Zachary Levi, the Shazam star, is already a part of the project. The project is based on the book written by Scott M LeRette with Susy Flory of the same name. The story of the project follows a kid, Austin, with a rare brittle bone disease and autism.
However, his joyous, funny, and life-affirming worldview that transforms and unites everyone who is around him is what makes Austin unique. Especially Scott, his dad, whose role is played by Levi, who changes his life as he comes to see his child not as the symbol of something that is broken but the triumph of a spirit that is indestructible.
